Vaelen Limited (Vaelen, we, us) operates vaelen.co.nz. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and your rights. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Information you submit through our forms: name, company, role, business email, phone, market, channel, range of interest, and your message.
- Usage information collected by Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, collected via cookies. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and evaluate a potential commercial relationship.
- To send you the distributor dossier where you have requested it and agreed to the Confidentiality Terms.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in our customer relationship management system (HubSpot) and our email system (Microsoft 365). These providers may store data on servers outside New Zealand, under their own security and privacy safeguards. We keep enquiry information for as long as a commercial relationship is active or reasonably in prospect, and then delete it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works without cookies.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date below.
